Brett Himbury : Chief Executive

Brett is responsible for the management of IFM, product development, strategy, investment and for management of client relationships.
Brett's experience spans almost 30 years in the financial services industry encompassing a range of roles. Previously he was Managing Director of Tyndall Investment Management, the funds management business of Suncorp. Prior to that he was COO of Promina following a career heading up the financial planning and advice services of Westpac Bank and later Commonwealth Bank.

Judith Smith : Head of Private Equity

Judith is responsible for the management of the private equity team, private equity product construction and fund raising and management of private equity investments on behalf of IFM clients.
Judith is Deputy Chair of IFM’s Investments and Strategy Committee.
Judith participates in a range of private equity fund advisory committees and has participated in the Australian Private Equity & Venture Capital Association Limited (“AVCAL”) subcommittees on industry relevant matters, was elected to the AVCAL Board for 2006-2009, and is on the Victorian State Government Venture Capital Working Group.
Previously, Judith held various investment management roles, including an 11 year career at National Mutual Funds Management.

Kyle Mangini : Global Head of Infrastructure
BEc/Gov (Wesleyan University)
Kyle is responsible for managing all aspects of infrastructure investment management functions. Kyle is also a member of IFM's Investments and Strategy Committee and is the Chairman of IFM's Specialised Debt Committee.
Kyle has 20 years' experience in investment banking and asset management, including senior roles with CSFB and SBC Warburg. He has infrastructure experience both in Australia and abroad, including a role acting as an advisory director to the Flinders Group. His relevant transaction experience includes the execution of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, initial public offerings, public bond offerings, Rule 144A private placements, commercial bank facilities and derivatives.
In addition to the Pacific Hydro Board, Kyle is a director of Ecogen Holdings (owner of the Newport and Jeeralang Power Stations) and Melbourne Airport.

Christian Seymour : Head of Infrastructure - Europe

Christian is responsible for the business expansion in Europe and oversight of IFM’s existing European asset portfolio. Christian is located at IFM’s London office.
Christian has a background in energy marketing, project development, project management and technical engineering management for energy and related infrastructure developments. Spanning a period of 18 years, Christian has worked for companies such as Duke Energy, Santos, BHP Billiton, Bechtel and Woodside on medium to large-scale projects, having successfully led multi-disciplinary project teams, including marketing, legal, technical, financial analysis and construction, to completion.

Alec Montgomery : Head of Infrastructure - North America
MBA (Babson), BA (Harvard)
Alec is responsible for managing IFM's US investment options.
Alec is a seasoned project financier with over 15 years' experience in financing large infrastructure and commodity-based projects. Before becoming Head of Infrastructure Finance at the Royal Bank of Scotland in 2006, Alec was Managing Director, Head of Project Finance, at the Bank. He has also held senior positions with Credit Agricole Indosuez (New York); Deutsche Banc Alex Brown (New York); and Union Bank of Switzerland (New York and Zurich).

Michael Thompson : Executive Director - US
BCom (Melbourne)
Michael is responsible for managing IFM's US investment options.
Prior to IFM, Michael was employed at PricewaterhouseCoopers as Director and Head of Energy Mergers & Acquisitions; a Director in the Specialised Capital Group (equity underwriting and funds management arm) at Westpac Banking Corporation; Director in the Energy and Infrastructure banking advisory team at Citigroup; Vice President in the Infrastructure investment banking team at Merrill Lynch; and has also worked at various levels in KPMG Corporate Finance, Melbourne, which included secondments to Bahrain, Luxembourg and Fort Lauderdale.

Michael Hanna : Executive Director - Infrastructure

Michael is responsible for staff development, investor management and product development, and is a board member for the M5 and Eastern Distributor toll roads in Sydney and the Ecogen Energy power generation business in Victoria.
Michael has a background in urban and economic planning, and public infrastructure development and funding. Michael has worked for the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance and global engineers, Arup in both the UK and Australia. He has experience in managing the planning, funding and implementation issues for toll roads, major rail and inland waterways infrastructure, tourism and leisure investments, the servicing of industrial land banks and telecommunications infrastructure.

Robin Miller : Executive Director - Debt Investments

Robin is responsible for the creation and management of debt based portfolios and investment staff.
Robin’s career started in the mining industry in 1975, moving into finance in 1986 when he joined National Australia Bank (“NAB”) group as an analyst. Within NAB he had many roles in credit analysis and lending (both corporate and project finance) as well as in credit control and risk management. In 1998 he moved across to one of NAB’s funds management businesses, National Asset Management (“NAM”), specifically to take credit risk skills into their fixed interest team. Subsequent to their acquisition of MLC, NAB decided to close NAM in 2001 and Robin transferred this team and the pure credit risk portfolios to AMP Capital Investors. Robin joined ME Bank in 2005 and the subsequent integration into IFM saw Robin assume leadership of the Debt Investments team.

Aidan Puddy : Executive Director - Listed Equities

Aidan is responsible for the management of the listed equities team, the management of IFM's indexed and enhanced equities portfolio capability, and the development of IFM's indexing capabilities.
Aidan has worked in the investment management industry for 14 years including working at Invesco (formerly County Investment Management) for over 8 years. Within Invesco Aidan had many roles including portfolio manager of indexed and quantitive equity products, both domestic and international, and quantitative analyst for the Balanced and International area. Aidan has also worked at National Mutual Funds Management, Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and, more recently, the Myer Family Office working as a fundamental and quantitative research analyst.

Clyde Haldane : Executive Director - Listed Equities

Clyde is leading the research and development effort for IFM’s new listed equities initiatives outside the enhanced indexed area.
Clyde commenced in the funds management industry with County NatWest Investment Management Group and was a founding partner of Portfolio Partners, where he oversaw their balanced funds and had Australian equities research responsibilities in the engineering, diversified industrials, utilities and infrastructure, banking and finance, property trusts and diversified resource sectors. After departing, Clyde assisted a number of family owned private investment companies, prior to joining IFM in 2006.

Joshua Lim : Executive Director - Commercial
LLB (Hons) (Melbourne), BCom (Melbourne), CA
Joshua is responsible for managing all aspects of the Commercial Group which encompasses structuring and execution of transactions, product design, risk and compliance. He is a member of IFM's Investments and Strategy Committee and IFM's Risk Committee.
Joshua has over 14 years of experience in legal, commercial and tax experience gained at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Allens Arthur Robinson and Blake Dawson. His previous roles include advising on merger and acquisitions, restructures, tax, funds management and equity raisings.

Eddy Schipper : Executive Director - Business Development

Eddy is responsible for marketing and business development at IFM.
Eddy has extensive experience in business development and his most recent position was Head of Institutional Business Development, Colonial First State Global Asset Management, which he has held since May 2006. His main responsibilities were business development, deal origination across the institutional market and developing institutional sales and asset consultant relationships in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this period, he held the position of Institutional Business Development Manager with Colonial First State (following the merger with Commonwealth Investment Management which took place in 2002).

Debora Jackson : Executive Director - Client Services
MBA (Melbourne)
Debora’s responsibilities include the provision of all client services for IFM, including communications, client reporting, marketing and business development.
Prior to joining IFM in 2006, Debora spent 8 years as Chief Executive Officer at Finsuper, an industry superannuation fund with over 31,000 members and in excess of A$500 million under management.

Monte Tarbox : Client Services Director
MBA (University of Chicago), BA (Carleton College)
Monte is responsible for marketing, communications and client service issues associated with IFM’s US office in New York.
Prior to joining IFM in 2007, Monte spent 17 years as an investment consultant serving multi-employer pension funds in the US and Australia.
He has worked with firms in Chicago, Melbourne and Washington, including IFS, AFL-CIO Centre for Working Capital, and for Taft-Hartley and public fund trustees. Monte has, since 2002, served as a director on the Montgomery County Public Schools Retirement System’s Board of Investments and is a member of the Investment Committee of Amnesty International USA.

Philip Dowman : Executive Director - Finance and Operations
BBS (Hons) (Massey, NZ), CA
Philip manages IFM’s investment accounting administration, compliance, IT and treasury management.
Before immigrating to Australia, Philip spent 14 years working in New Zealand in various senior finance and planning roles with Wrightson Limited, Trust Bank of NZ, and Toyota (NZ). In Australia he has worked with the ANZ Bank in a Group Strategy role and was Head of ANZ Custodian Services.

Lisa Williams : Director Corporate Services
B Comm (Melbourne), Grad Dip (Org Dynamics) SUT
Lisa is responsible for developing and overseeing IFM's people management framework which distinguishes the way IFM develops and retains its people, and attracts new talent to the organisation.
Prior to this role, Lisa spent ten years providing specialist HR consulting services to financial services organisations, primarily in remuneration strategy and management, performance management, HR policy development and resourcing strategies.
Lisa has also worked as a senior corporate HR Consultant for ANZ Bank providing a broad range of HR services.
